Adam Schiff is a congressman who represents California’s 30th Congressional District He is in his 11th term in the House of Representatives and currently serves as the Chair of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. Well not anymore. The current Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy just relieved Adam and a few others of their duties. At least as far as the intel community is concerned. We all knew that with the new Republican House, there would be some changes but are they justified?
Adam Schiff believes that he was relieved of his duties simply because he lead the fight against Trump. Is that true or is there more to it? Of course there is and the mainstream media wont speak on things we are about to explore here. I think its best to start by looking into Adam Schiff’s recent history to see how we arrived here today.
In 2019, Schiff was appointed by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to lead the impeachment inquiry into Trump’s alleged abuse of power related to his dealings with Ukraine. Schiff’s leadership of the inquiry was praised by many Democrats, who appreciated his methodical approach to presenting evidence and building a case against the president. Ultimately, Trump was impeached by the House of Representatives, but acquitted by the Senate.
Something as equally suspicious and more recent what came out of the Twitter Files. It has been reported through documents and emails, that representatives from Adam Schiff’s office, would contact Twitter to have certain posts taken down. The most interesting is these were post that mentioned election fraud, covid and covid vaccine information and anything that went against Democrats. There was also a money trail found where the FBI has paid Twitter at least 3 million dollars for their work together. Even after this information was brought to light, Adam still denies everything and blames a MAGA movement that wishes to undermine our Democracy.
While Schiff’s office regularly requested Twitter take down content, the social platform declined to do so on several occasions. For example, when Schiff’s office asked for the takedown of a tweet featuring a modified image of then-presidential candidate Joe Biden, former Twitter head of trust and safety Yoel Roth dismissed the request, stating that the post had obvious “humorous intent” and that “any reasonable observer” could see that the image was doctored. Twitter also refused requests from Schiff calling for the suppression of search results about staff on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, which he chaired. It did abide by some requests, including when it “deamplified” content featuring “QAnon-related activity.”
Even after Trump left office, Schiff has continued to push for investigations into the former president’s conduct, including his attempts to overturn the 2020 election results in which many discrepancies have been reported both by public officials and citizens.
